Alberto Saiz brings a unique blend of military discipline and medical training to his role as a Medical Assistant Extern at our clinic. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Alberto served from 2014 to 2024, dedicating a decade to various roles that shaped his commitment to teamwork, leadership, and service.
During his military career, Alberto began as an Infantry Soldier, where he developed a deep respect for medical professionals while assisting medics as an Aid and Litter team member. This role ignited his interest in healthcare as he supported medics in providing critical care to fellow soldiers. Alberto later transitioned to work in corrections and ultimately found his stride as a Military Police Officer, a position he held with pride until the end of his military service.
Following his military career, Alberto pursued his passion for healthcare at Arizona College, enrolling in the Medical Assistant program from July 2024 to January 2025. The program provided him with a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment where he excelled in skills such as administering injections, taking vitals, drawing blood, conducting urinalysis, and operating EKG machines. Alberto thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on aspect of the training and embraced every opportunity to grow his expertise.
Since January 2025, Alberto has been an integral part of our clinic as a Medical Assistant Extern. His first days in the clinic were marked by excitement and dedication, and he continues to approach each day with enthusiasm for working with patients and collaborating with our staff. Alberto is passionate about honing his skills, learning from his colleagues, and contributing to the high standard of care we provide at our clinic.
